Earning an MD from Tel-Aviv University, Dr. Rosenthal held fellowship positions at the University of Colorado (Pediatric Hematology/Oncology) and Children's Hospital of Orange County (Pediatric Cancer Research and Bone Marrow Transplantation). He later obtained an MS degree in Health Care Management at Harvard University and a JD from Purdue. An acknowledged expert in stem cell transplantation, Dr. Rosenthal has been associated with City of Hope since 1996 and has led their Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program since 2009. A member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Transplantation Technologies & Research and reviewer for Blood and Bone Marrow Transplantation, he has authored over 100 scientific publications and has been awarded multiple research grants, including a $5.7M grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine in 2018.
